The Roseman Covered Bridge is located in Madison County near the city of Winterset, Iowa. The bridge was built in 1883 by Benton Jones and sits in its original location. The bridge was renovated in 1992 and it is 107 feet in length. Madison County at one time had 19 covered bridges, with only 6 remaining today. The Roseman Covered Bridge was featured in the book and movie versions of The Bridges of Madison County starring Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep in 1995.
975 limited addition prints have been made, all signed and numbered by the artist. All prints are accompanied with a certificate of authenticity. The original artwork took 36 hours to complete and was donated to the Madison County Chamber of Commerce to be used as a fund-raiser, with the proceeds going towards continued covered bridge preservation in the area.
